Last night new Dutch talent Borre Akersdijk showed his ByBorre collection during two different presentations… One by day and one by night… Unfortunately I couldn’t check out his daytime show, which was held at a big gymnasium in Amsterdam. A fashionshow combined with gymnastics… so fashion integrated with sports. The night presentation was held at hotspot Ludwig.  The outfits where shown during several performances. Borre mixed fashion with other talents, he mixed his collection presentation with music; the Dutch lyrical talent Pepijn Lanen (De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig) reading a poem to the audience while wearing By Borre clothing. Then the rapper Nigel Digets did a performance wearing the byBorre clothing and he finished off the presentation with the DJ Abstract also byBorre clothing. A nice cool creative way to attract other audiences apart from the ‘usual’ fashion crowd, definitly something you would not expect… Let’s say we’re always in for some innovation!
