Super shoe brand United Nude collaborated again with talented Dutch designer Iris van Herpen. This resulted in ‘FANG’, shoes with ten sharp teeth to each foot. This is van Herpen’s fifth collaboration with the Dutch shoe label. The shape of the wedge is so complex that each one consists of fiberglass and carbon fiber, made in a slow molding process… As we all know van Herpen really loves to work with difficult material for complex shapes! I fell in love with two cities last year… Tokyo and Stockholm… Both my first time and it was banana’s! Last week I had the chance to visit Stockholm again for the Mercedes Benz Stockholm Fashion Week. I was invited by Filippa K to check out their men and women shows and interview their head designer Nina Bogstedt for Men’s Health. So together with Vogue NL and Spice PR I flew to minus twelve degrees (it was frikkin cold)… to Stockholm! Approximately 2000 people watched how Ms. SuperTrash Olcay Gulsen, presented her designs to the world. Olcay endid her show with a Beyonce-ish performance while the crowd went nuts ;). Today I’ve visited the show of Project Catwalk winner Jacob Kok with BNN host Zarayda Groenhart and fashion journalist Aynouk Tan. We recorded something for a tv show called 24/7. The show’s topic was about bloggers taking over the fashion world. So BNN followed us and wanted to see the fashion world through the eyes of a blogger and a fashion journalist. It was kind of interesting to talk about blogging through different perspectives. The show will air tonight at 23.00 on channel 3 (Nederland 3). I’m so busy right now, I just forgot about posting my pictures from the Bread & Butter Fair in Berlin. As it was my first time in Berlin, I really got to experience this city full force! Fashion, techno, industrial buildings everywhere! I just love the vibe of this energetic city and this probably won’t be my last time! I was in Berlin for the fashion fair cause I had to work for Cold Method with the rest of the team… So I couldn’t go to ALL the parties, but I managed to attend a couple! The G-Star party was ON! It was held at Asphalt below the Hilton Hotel, amazing location… Even more sick was the Bjorn Borg party in a whore house, with special rooms, including the sex attributes! Also memorable was the Stussy party at the Flamingo Club! Great vibe, even greater music. Last party was the Patta party… just sick! Man, I’m just talking about the parties! After a week of work and parties in Berlin, I jumped right in to the fashion rollercoaster in Amsterdam… ‘De Modefabriek’ (fashion fair) started yesterday and I had to work all day… The fair is really in progress, the look, the feel, the vibe… it was just there, not as cool as in Berlin, but hey this is Holland! At the end we partied at ‘de Borrel’ hosted in another building next to the fair. My brothers DJ Goodgrip and Fullscale spinned the wheels with DJ Covergirl Sunny at the party.
